This course provides an introduction to estimating practices used in the construction industry. The student will learn traditional and electronic methods for determining costs and bid preparation. Background information on materials and methods used in the construction process will be presented. The outline for the course follows the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) MasterFormat 2004 divisions.
