Concrete Floor Polishing Practical

THIS COURSE HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR FLOOR COVERERS . This 24 hour hands-on course takes the participant through the steps for preparation, burnishing and polishing concrete slab floors using the WerkMaster Ultra Floor Systems & Solutions equipment.  Actual course time fluctuates based on condition of training areas.

This course presents many of the basic and most important aspects of concrete formwork, including formwork materials, form hardware, and formwork safety practices. UBC members will learn how to fabricate simple wall forms for a footing form and a foundation wall form in a safe and efficient way.

This 16-hour hands-on course covers the hazards of working in confined spaces. Participants will learn the duties and responsibilities required by OSHA safety standards. This training is required for persons supervising, entering, or monitoring confined space activities.

Construction Master Pro /Advanced

This course is an advanced version of the New Construction Master Pro Class. Members taking this class should have already taken the introductory class.  Topics covered include advanced rafter and stair layout. Advanced crown moulding cut calculations, leveling instrument calculations converting degrees, minutes and seconds for slope layout. Practical, job-related projects will be emphasized.  We

Construction Fall Protection

This 8 hour course addresses safety requirements when working from an elevated area such as stairs, ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts and steel erection. It also addresses how to use, inspect and maintain personal protective equipment.
