Class Description
This is a 4 hour class.
Robert’s Rules of Order is the system that most organizations including ours use to run their meetings and structure the organization. Understanding and learning Robert’s rules will allow you participate easier and help improve how we function as a union. The union is the collection of all our voices and it’s only by the participation of everyone that we have a strong voice.
The class will be taught by a professional with 40 years of experience on the subject working with different unions. There will be valuable information for people with any level of experience and the class is open to every union member. Please sign up so we have a headcount.
Required Equipment
Members attending training must provide their own safety shoes, safety goggles, gloves, ear protection and hard hats. Failure to provide your own safety equipment may result in your being dropped from a particular training session.
Attendance Requirements
Attendance at the first training session is mandatory. 100% attendance is required for all courses that issue Certificates or Qualifications and Apprentice mandatory training. Please be on time! Late arrivals (and early departures) are disruptive to instructors and participants. Poor attendance / disruptive behavior will result in your being dropped from a particular training session.
